AND DONE!
After a whole day's struggle with the scanner and an old laptop, I finally got around scanning this. My boyfriend's computer decided to crash around noon today, and unfortunately, that's the computer I use for scanning. (My scanner is not compatible with my Mac - but I love that scanner, especially since it's in a3 )
So, here I give you, the finished work. The upper part of the picture is a bit paler than it looks in real life + the picture has gone all ORANGE. When i have a better computer to edit it on, I'll try and make a better scan. (This is how the colours look irl - or as close as we get. [link] )
This drawing was all in all just for fun. I fell for the stock photo a year or so ago, and I really wanted to make something with it. And here's the result I don't know a thing about fish etc, so drawing a goldfish probably wasn't my best idea ... but, if it makes you happy, we can call it Flounder? (even though this isn't Ariel ... but the title and all .. you catch my drift.)
.:Tools of the Trade:.
Caran D'Ache coloured pencils, Canson 130 paper, eraser, ruler, patience and lots of tissues and cotton balls.
.:References:.
The stock photo of this gorgeous lady can no longer be found on dA, but her main gallery can be found here: ~heidishvili (Thanks for letting me do this, Heidi! It was great fun!)
